
Seven months later, her trust levels have grown considerably. When there is a strange noise or unfamiliar situation, she looks at us. Sometimes she even leans against my leg, just to make sure I know she's there and I won't forget to protect her.
And she has no trouble sleeping. Whether it's her favorite spot on the couch, under the table in the kitchen, on my feet at my desk, or cuddled in her bed at night, Molly can relax completely. She knows she's at home with us, and her world is right. We will take care of her.
How much do you trust your Heavenly Father? Enough to lean on Him when circumstances are frightening? Enough to relax and know He takes care of you? Enough to sleep without worry?
Even when David was surrounded by his enemies, he slept well, knowing Who protected him. Can you say as David did: I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8
